1.1 Initial Deposit: A minimum booking advance of 30% to 50% of the total tour cost is required to confirm hotel reservations, dedicated vehicle allocation, and initial paperwork.

1.2 Balance Payment: The remaining balance must be settled upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / NJP Railway Station or on Day 1 of the tour before proceeding to hill stations.

1.3 Peak Season Surcharge: For peak travel periods (April – June, Durga Puja / Diwali, and Christmas / New Year), hotels may demand 100% advance payment to guarantee reservation holds.

2.1 Required Identification: All guests must carry original government-issued photo identity cards (Voter ID card or Passport) along with 6 passport-sized photographs. Note: PAN cards and Aadhaar cards are NOT accepted by military check-posts for Nathula Pass or North Sikkim.

2.2 Special Protected Areas: Areas like Tsomgo Lake, Nathula Pass, Gurudongmar Lake, and Yumthang Valley are sensitive border zones controlled by the Indian Army and Sikkim Police. Permit issuance is at the sole discretion of the defense authorities.

2.3 Bhutan Entry Regulations: Bhutan requires a valid Indian Passport (with at least 6 months validity) or Voter ID Card, Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) clearance, and a mandatory certified Bhutanese local guide.

2.4 Foreign Nationals (Non-Indian): Foreign passport holders require an Inner Line Permit (ILP) for Sikkim and are restricted by military guidelines from visiting Gurudongmar Lake, Baba Mandir, and Nathula Pass.

3.1 Point-to-Point Service: Vehicles are provided on a point-to-point itinerary basis as confirmed in your package quote. Vehicles are not on disposal for personal errands or shopping beyond sightseeing hours.

3.2 Air-Conditioning in Hills: AC will operate on the plains (Bagdogra, Siliguri, Dooars) but is switched off on hill ascents (Darjeeling, Gangtok, Lachen) to avoid engine overheating on steep mountain terrain.

3.3 Syndicate Regulations: In certain regions (such as North Sikkim and Darjeeling town center), local taxi union syndicates mandate the use of locally registered transport. Vehicle models may change accordingly between sectors.

5.1 Natural Roadblocks: The Himalayas are prone to sudden weather shifts, heavy monsoons, snowstorms, and road landslides. If roads to Gurudongmar, Nathula, or Lachung are blocked by local administration, we will arrange alternate accessible sightseeing where feasible.

5.2 Extra Operational Costs: Any additional expenses arising from flight cancellations, natural disasters, political strikes, roadblocks, or vehicle breakdowns beyond our control must be borne directly by the traveler on the spot.

6.1 Altitude Mountain Sickness (AMS): Destinations like Gurudongmar Lake (17,800 ft) and Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft) have low oxygen levels. Travelers with chronic heart conditions, respiratory ailments, severe asthma, or infants below 4 years are advised to consult a physician prior to booking.

6.2 Travel Insurance: We strongly urge all guests to purchase comprehensive domestic travel insurance covering high-altitude medical emergency evacuation and trip interruption.

Any disputes, claims, or disagreements arising from our tour packages or services shall be governed by the laws of India and subject exclusively to the legal jurisdiction of the courts in Siliguri, West Bengal.
